Opening End Panels For Side Equipment Access

Opening end panels for access to rear of equipment

One of the most frustrating things about having audio-visual equipment inside a cabinet is the awkwardness of hooking up the cables. The process of pulling equipment forward and trying to fight all the cables can test the best of us.

Opening end panels is one method we use to aid cable installation. Basically we hinge the cabinet end panels and provide a void in the internal cabinet.

This side access allows you to reach the back of your equipment without pulling it out the front of your cabinet as you normally would.

Being able to reach the back of the cabinet from the inside also assists in feeding cables through the cabinet.
