Hardware is a major factor when

product. Poor quality hardware
as seen in most mass-produced
furniture never lasts the test
of time. Poorly running drawers
and wobbly construction are all
symptoms of poor quality.
All JISC audio-visual cabinets are built using only the highest quality hardware and materials we can source. Our vision is to always be up to date with the latest technologies, while not losing sight of the tried and tested theory – “Simple Works Best”
DVD and CD storage.
Our DVD and CD storage mostly consists of a pull out drawer arrangement. The drawers we use are heavy-duty stainless steel drawers from a hardware manufacture ‘Blum’. You may be familiar with the ‘Blum tandembox’ drawer seen in quality kitchens, having a smooth sliding action with an anti-slam mechanism.
Blue Gum Joinery use the ‘Blum tandembox’ drawer along with a rail system that can be used to adjust your DVD and CD space as seen in the picture below.
Drawers can be external or internal design as seen below.
