Standard Designs
To simplify the design process we have come up with some standard designs that work well with audio-visual equipment, while fitting in with many different decors and tastes. Click on the images below to view the different design styles we offer as a standard. Links to the designs are below left.
Our standard designs come in two forms of construction.

The JISC range of cabinets have been designed using an extremely heavy-duty construction method, which is built in a modular fashion. That is, each door is hung to its own internal cabinet, then each internal cabinet assembled together on-site to build up the finished design.
Assembly would consist of placing and levelling base, sitting internal cabinets on the base and joining them together with special joining bolts. Finally a bench top would be attached and door gaps adjusted.
All our cabinets are made to order, which means we can offer our designs in any colour or finish you desire.
Making our cabinets to order also allows us to build the design to suit YOUR equipment. Typically we would work from a list of the components you plan to house and design the cabinet to suit.
The JISC Range of designs are all built with ventilation and cable access. Other features like opening ends, removable tops and cooling fans are also available.
JISC designs usually require delivery and assembly. However, anyone confident with a screwdriver and cabinet hardware operation will be able to manage assembly. This makes it possible to ship most of our standard designs interstate.

Our JISC Lite range of cabinets have been developed to satisfy a need for a more simplified cabinet, keeping costs down, while still addressing the needs of audio-visual equipment.
Each cabinet design is constructed as one cabinet. That is, all doors are hinged to a cabinet carcass built in one piece. Because the cabinet is built in one piece the designs are limited to 2400mm in length and a few fixed designs.
Advantages of the JISC Lite designs are cost saving from the use of less material and no assembly of modular cabinets in factory and on-site. Cabinets come fully assembled with only adjustment of doors required on-site.
Because the JISC Lite designs are fixed you are unable to modify or custom design to suit your wall space for example. Component fan option is also not available as there are no solid backs.
