Standard Cabinet Designs
The purpose of this page is to introduce you to our standard cabinet designs. The designs on this page have been developed to assist you in deciding what size or configuration cabinet you may require or like.
Height of your cabinet design will largely depend on the amount and type of equipment you plan to house. Speaker dimensions for example can have a dramatic effect on width and height. To establish your over all cabinet design and height you will need to make a list of all your equipment, including dimensions.
Styles
The drawings below are drawn in
a shadowline
style, however these layouts can
be made in any of our styles: modern,
traditional,
lambs tongue). You can also have
these designs built in a custom
style of your choice.
Open Cabinets
All our designs below are
drawn so that your equipment
will be behind doors. If you are
wondering how your remotes will
work with the door closed? The
answer is a device called an IR
repeater. An IR repeater sends
your remote controls signal to
the components that are inside
the cabinet.

DVD /
CD Storage drawers.
Overall cabinet height will
determine how many drawers you
can fit into your cabinet
design. Obviously you will need
a certain clearance to fit your
DVD's and CD's. Please contact
us to discuss details of your
cabinet design.
Drawers in our designs are
drawn as what we refer to as
internal or external drawers.
- An internal drawer would be a
drawer that lives behind a door.
You will need to open the door
to pull-out the drawer.
- An external drawer would be a
drawer that has its own drawer
front and handle of some sort.
