Lectern Description

The Three bay lectern is a three door wide lectern with both flat and angled work surfaces. Extra wide keyboard drawer comes as standard. Internal width is appropriate to fit 19 inch RU Equipment Rack stripping.

It comes standard with lockable doors and removable lockable service panel.

Colours and finish

Our lecterns are made to order, which means you can have any colour and finish we can source.

Melamine - melamine board is a laminate style board that is common with office/commercial style furniture. All the edges of our melamine-finished lecterns are edged in a 2mm thick PVC plastic edge with rounded corners. We recommend that lecterns be made in the melamine finish because of its extremely hardwearing characteristics.

Veneer - veneer board is real timber veneer pressed onto an MDF board and sprayed in a clear finish. We can build your lectern in any veneer board available, which gives you an option to match an existing décor.

Polyurethane - Polyurethane spray painted MDF board can be used for your lectern. Any available formulated colour (i.e. Dulux colour chart) can be used to spray paint your lectern.

Custom Sizes

Blue Gum Joinery can custom make a lectern to your specifications. Changes in height, depth and width are possible. Please contact us to discuss.

External Shelves

External Shelves are mounted to the sides of lectern with heavy duty folding brackets. Stainless steel bolts and T nuts are used for strong fixing.
- If one external shelf is to be ordered please state on which side you would like the shelf as shown on drawing above. (looking from presenters side)

Control panel cut-out
(Order Code: BG10)
Square cut-out in top can be machined at time of manufacture for the mounting of control panels etc.
- Notice 4 dimensions on the drawing to the right:
- A1 = the distance from the left edge of top to left of cut-out
- A2 = the width of the cut-out
- B1 = distance from front lip of lectern top to bottom of cut-out
- B2 = the depth of cut-out

Door Cut-Outs

Square cut-outs in doors can be machined at time of manufacture for the access to components while doors are closed and locked.
- Notice 8 dimensions on the drawing above.
- C1 = the distance from the bottom edge of door to bottom of edge of cut-out
- C2 = Height of cut-out
- D1 = the distance from left door edge to left edge of cut-out
- D2 = the width of the cut-out

- E1 = the distance from the bottom edge of door to bottom of edge of cut-out
- E2 = Height of cut-out
- F1 = the distance from left door edge to left edge of cut-out
- F2 = the width of the cut-out

- G1 = the distance from the bottom edge of door to bottom of edge of cut-out
- G2 = Height of cut-out
- H1 = the distance from left door edge to left edge of cut-out
- H2 = the width of the cut-out

Dimensions need to be measured from left door edge when standing looking at the lectern, as is shown on drawing above.

Power and Data Points

Power and data point cut outs can be machined at the time of manufacture in the positions shown on the drawing above.
- Standard cut out size is 75mm * 60mm
- Cut outs can be vertical or horizontal (shown horizontal).
- Cut outs can be a custom size to suit a particular component or hardware you wish to add.

Castor Wheel Base
(Order Code: BG07-HDW)
Heavy-duty swivel castor wheel base can be fitted in replace of standard base.

- Industrial quality Chrome plated metal frame.
- Lockable swivel brake.
- Non-scuff rubber used on wheel.
- Bump rubber around base to protect bumping into walls etc.
- Bolted to lectern base with bolts and nylock nuts.

Component Fan (Order Code: BGLF-120F) Component fan to expel large amounts of heated air from inside of lectern can also be fitted to your lectern at time of manufacture. More>> -Fan can be fitted on either left or right side of lectern.
