Ventilation

Ventilation slots machined into shelves and bottom

Probably the most important reason for getting an audiovisual cabinet designed other than cable management and correct sizing for components is ventilation.

Your components all generate heat, especially Amps and set-top box’s for example. Without proper ventilation your equipment could get damaged and not operate properly.

All our JISC range of cabinets, are built with slot ventilated bottoms and shelves to allow air to flow through equipment and not around.

Air enters from under the cabinet and is expelled out the back panel via a hole or component fan.

All shelves sit on cam style shelf rests that lock shelves into position. This helps to stop the shelves moving when adjusting equipment.
